A Journey to find ME - Preface

A long thought process on it, and finally I determined to give it a go. I knew that it was very tough journey and needs much stamina of both man and machine. I discussed with many people around me, "Should I try it?". Some of them gave a bit cold response "Yeah.... ummm you may... but... you know...". and some of them clearly said NO, as it is impossible task.

After thinking a bit, finally I decided and the plan of my journey began.

It was around 1100 KM run which I planned from Google Maps. The destinations I decided, some of them were pilgrimage, some were wild life locations, rest of all highways and highways. :)

The plan has been decided as

Day 1: To Pavagadh and Champaner, then return to Vadodara for night halt
Day 2: Narmada, Nareshwar, Sardar Sarovar and Rajpipla. Then Bharuch for night halt
Day 3: To Saputara and Ahwa. Night halt at Vansda
Day 4: Return to Ahmedabad

Once I decided.. I got some very good response from few of my colleague and boss also. Sunil sir who is my boss offered me to stay at Vadodara to his house. Anand Trivedi who is my colleague offered me the Circuit House Stay at Vansda.

So taking all this I made the plan and eagerly waited for the 23rd Morning.

The plan was to start on 7 AM from my home which is near Prahlad Nagar. I offered my all friends by watsapp if anybody want to join me.

Some clothes needed washing so I washed at midnight before I started the journey. some important things to carry such as Torch, First Aid Kit, Address Book Diary (in case of emergency it is needed).

Did not carry the water bottle, let it be bought en-route as and when needed. Because everywhere you will not find hygienic water to re-fill. So it is better to buy the fresh.

So... packing done at 3 AM morning... and I slept for couple of hours. Yes, ofcourse such a short sleep is not good, but the thrill which I had for the next day was not allowing me to easily sleep hehehe..

So please read my next blog post "A Journey to find ME - Day 1" where actually the journey begins.

Cheers
